While I approach the final hours of year 27, I am reflecting over the past year. Mainly the last 6 months. Since my birthday is in the middle of the year, I find that its a great time to reflect on how the year is going so far. :) I guess I only find time to write during times in my life where I reflect a lot. That being the new year and my birthday.
When reading over my last blog post, I looked over my list of goals that I set for myself and found that so much as changed and so much as stayed the same. I know that most of them would take more than a year of accomplish, but something inside of me wishes I was a bit further along.
Here is the list that I created 6 months ago.:
1)Invest in people and relationships that are mutual.
2)Work towards only having one job.
3)Bring fitness and eating better back into my life.
4)Start working towards relocating myself.
For some reason, hours before my birthday I find this list a bit daunting. The one thing I have accomplished is getting down to one job (last day at the PT job is on the 17th). The rest of the list has always been on my mind but hasn't been at the forefront.
Even though this may seem daunting to me, I know that opening up and giving myself more free time will open doors for the rest of the list. While I have only "accomplished" one thing on this list, that in no way means that I am a failure. I know that I have so much to offer and bring to life. I can't wait to to stop getting in my own way and start putting myself into projects and things I am passionate about.
Cheers to the past year of my life. You have been one weird year. You have tested me in ways I never thought possible. But without you, I wouldn't be me.
All I can say is that 28 is going to be a freaking great year.
